How To Become An Egg Donor

Application: Complete a thorough application form. Your answers will help prospective intended parents select you as a donor, so ensure your responses are detailed and comprehensive

Meeting: We'll reach out to you to arrange either an in-person or Skype meeting. During this meeting, we'll address any questions you or your family may have. We'll also schedule background checks, psychological evaluations, and assist you in gathering any necessary medical records

Matching: Once we've completed the necessary evaluations and screenings, we'll find a suitable family for you to match with. The doctor will review your documents and approve the match

Review: After matching with intended parents, we'll discuss the details of the match with you to ensure you're comfortable and familiar with each step of the process

Medical: If there are any outstanding medical tests required, we'll schedule them for you. Your nurse will provide guidance on how to properly administer any stimulation medications needed for the donation cycle

Legal: Once you're medically cleared, the intended parents will initiate legal contracts. You'll have your own attorney to review and sign with, and we'll assist you throughout this process. Additionally, your donor health insurance and escrow account will be set up and completed at this time

Age: Between 21 and 27 years old
Family Health: No health issues within your immediate family, such as diabetes, cancer, multiple sclerosis (MS), autism, etc.
Lifestyle: Non-smoker and non-drug user, with no history of mental illness
Birth Control: Copper or hormonal IUDs must be removed
Medications: Not currently taking medications for blood pressure, anxiety, depression, etc.
Body Modifications: No tattoos or piercings within the last 6 months without a health certificate
Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs): No STDs within one calendar year from the day of application
Commitment: Fully committed to your donation cycle and willing to fulfill all associated responsibilities and requirements
Transportation: Have a reliable vehicle to attend appointments
Substance Use: Smoking, heavy drinking, or exposure to marijuana/tobacco smoke is prohibited
Communication: Available to communicate by phone and email as needed and in a timely manner
Contact Information: Promptly notify us of any changes to your contact information, marital status, cycle or childbirth status, or any other pertinent information
Availability: Check your messages and voicemails at least once in the morning and once in the evening before 5:00 PM, to ensure timely communication
